This hopper is of unreliable construction and is considered very dangerous. The top of the funnel is made of thick plastic but has a very short stem under the bowl. That's the problem. The tube extension is made of wafer-thin plastic. It screws into a thread at the bottom of the bowl. Gas will leak through this connection point because the hose is very thin and cannot provide a strong, airtight connection. Any attempt to firmly attach the pipe to the bottom of the bowl will likely cause the pipe to shrink and crack (as has happened to me). This will cause gasoline to leak out of the funnel assembly. Any attempt to tamper with the pipe will also likely cause it to bend and fail and leak gas (as in my case). I believe this is a very dangerous product and should not be used with flammable liquids such as petrol or diesel. Fuel. If your 5 year old wants to use it as a toy, great. In my opinion it is unsafe and not suitable for anything else.
