Combination pack not properly packaged

8 x 8 was fine but 11 x 17 was packaged with 4 equal length tubes forming a 17 x 17 square. All 4 tubes had extensions and none of the tubes would connect without extensions, so I can't make the rectangular shape I was hoping for. Will probably have to return it as it's not what I was looking for.
