First off, let me say that I have a few Beavercraft knives and a few others from "more expensive" brands. At this price you can't beat the quality you get. I've only had great results with their products. Sturdy construction, easy to sharpen and holds a decent edge. I had a small issue with the included spoon/bowl cutout. The edge broke off on first use. It must have been a rotten apple that slipped out of the cracks. I contacted Beaver Craft and they didn't hesitate to send me a brand new one and even included a small gift. I was amazed at the customer service. This is definitely a company I will be buying more stuff from in the future. They stand behind their products! An excellent choice for both beginners and experienced carvers.
