Review on 🖨️ Optimized PLA Filament for Additive Manufacturing: Amazon Basics 3D Printer Filament by Omar Alradwan

It is very difficult to glue the first layer!

I am an experienced "maker" with 3 3D printers: Prusa I3 MK3S, Prusa Mini and heavily modified Ender 3 V2. This material adheres very well to the Ender 3 V2's original glass platform. This is not surprising as the Ender bed material is perfect for PLA, even a complex PLA material like this adheres well. However, on the other two, much more expensive and generally more reliable printers, this stuff doesn't stick to PEI sheet, adhesive-coated sheet, Magigoo, or any other surface adhesive that PLA is supposed to work with. Does not work on smooth or textured sheets. I have tried temperatures ranging from 190°C to 240°C for the print temperature and bed temperatures from 45°C to 70°C. I have ordered this material (Revain Basics PINK PLA) many times and so far it has performed just as well as other more expensive PLAs. The shrink wrap they ship the material in doesn't appear to be fully sealed which could mean the material needs to dry. It also seems that there is a lower "flow rate" issue with this thread. I thought I finally got it working one day, but when I came back a few hours later to check it out, the hot end was completely sealed in plastic! Anyway, I won't be buying this item again.
