I am definitely no rookie when it comes to electrical stuff, I build furniture, remodel homes etc., I have all kind of tools you can imagine.well, this light fixture is a complete NIGHTMARE.It took me 3 hours to assemble it and install it.The wires need to be all connected, every single light! Ok, no problem.Every single "crystal" needs to be assembled, and whatever you call crystal looks like cheap piece of plastic. Your website states the best way to test a crystal is with fire.well I tried, it turned black.I have cuts all over my fingertips from opening and closing the very thin rings that connect the so called crystals.Forget the instructions, just confusing, if you are somehow handy and have installed other chandeliers use your common sense and it will save you time.The glass base that goes at the bottom was broken, again no problem, I tossed it, the chandelier looks better without. As I said I am pretty handy so I managed to make it look good removing extra pieces here and there but it's way too much of an hassle for the price. It's the IKEA version of a chandelier. I bought one from another vendor and it's a complete different story, heavy real crystal, 10 minutes to install.and guess what? Same price.
