Review on Stanley 8-Inch Bi-Material Lineman Pliers: Versatile and Durable Hand Tool by Adam Nikolz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the Kliens grips a little more than the .

I already had one of these and for the price it was unbeatable. My grips slipped off but I smeared them with glue and reattached them and that solved the problem. Be careful when resetting the handles as the pressure can cause the glue to flow out. I use mine for cutting, twisting, crimping copper, fitting plumbing, etc. I stumble upon it, drop it and unfortunately lose it. My colleagues have Kliens but I can buy 5 of them for the price of one. I like the Kliens grips a bit more as they offer a bit more leverage due to the thin grips, but these Stanleys will serve me well.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • A few little things
