I have decided to start changing the oil on my BMW K1200LT motorcycle. I had no idea what brand of filter was already on the bike, which makes a difference in the type of filter wrench you need due to the different filter flanges between brands. The filter for this bike is in the oil pan and there isn't much room inside for an oil filter wrench. I ended up trying 9 different AutoZone and Advance Auto wrenches before I found the right one. I chose this as a replacement filter because it has a nut welded on to the end that makes it easy to tighten or remove with a socket wrench. The filter was easy to screw on and I was able to use a torque wrench to tighten it properly. I don't worry about my next oil change as this filter was so easy to turn on and off.
