Great replacement for my old Belkin 8-port. ATTENTION, the VGA connectors on the back of this unit are FEMALE. So if you currently use VGA (MF) extension cables to go from your computer to your switch, you will need DB15HD male to male adapters. Belkin switches have male VGA ports. You may also encounter some compatibility issues. I have a machine with built in VGA (Intel) and it doesn't work with this switch. All other machines work, this one must have noise on the control wires, the switch can't snap to it. I replaced the cable with a few others and nothing helps, even updated the drivers and didn't help. It's a weird MATX board that I'll be replacing anyway, so I'm not worried. Direct access to each port from the front panel is very convenient. The LEDs indicate whether the port is active. Power supply for small wall warts.
