Excellent for soldering stainless steel.
This is great for soldering 1/8 inch stainless steel. Typically, stainless steel is difficult to weld unless you have a TIG welder. I have used these rods for brazing stainless steel with an acetylene torch. No problem, except you'll have to sand off the flux afterwards. The color of the solder doesn't match the color of the stainless steel, but that didn't bother me.
