On initial inspection I noticed that the lower dump valve was not attached to the plastic bowl body. After some fiddling I decided it was impossible to tighten because the nylon washer that pushes the o-ring into the recess in the bottom of the case was too large in diameter to fit in the recess and couldn't get on the Press O ring. The two parts of the valve, the inner brass piece and the lower plastic piece, pulled together, but the entire assembly remained loose. I decided to machine the copper washer under the nylon washer to make it work properly. See photos for reference. So if you need a project then this article is perfect for you.
