Review on πŸ’» SIIG 10 Port USB Hub: Fast Data Transfer and Efficient Charging for Tablets, Smartphones, and Hard Disks by Robert Weeks

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Well designed USB 3.0 hub that works great.

Although I've only had this hub for a few days I decided to write this review to help other buyers looking for a quality USB 3.0 hub as this hub is fairly new to Revain and few has reviews. I replaced a plastic 10-port USB 3.0 hub that gave up the ghost after half a year with this one. It works well with the following connected devices: 2 Seagate USB 3.0 5TB drives, Apple Lightning cable (USB 2.0), Brother printer (HL-L2340DW, USB 2.0), FitBit Key (USB 2.0), Kingston USB 3.0 card reader, CyberPower UPS 1000AVR (USB 2.0) and Sensei M-00001 USB 2.0 mouse. Everything is connected to a hub that plugs into one of the four USB 3.0 ports on my late 2015 27" iMac Retina 5K running OS X El Capitan version 10.11.5. All devices are working great. Less than 10 seconds after my iMac After shutting down to sleep mode, the hub goes into sleep mode and although the hub still has power, all devices go into sleep mode. The way it should work. My previous hub had a problem sleeping Seagate drives. Not with it. Aluminum structure. and of high quality. It runs cool, unlike the plastic case that replaced it. Customer service answered my questions about the product within a day. The product comes with a two-year warranty. Well packaged. I think , you can buy this product I hope you find this review valuable.

Pros
  • Certified Safety: Built-in heat dissipation and overcurrent protection technology to protect the hub and connected devices.
Cons
  • Faulty
