Review on 📀 Sony DVP-NS77H/B: High-Definition HDMI DVD Player with 1080p Upscaling in Black by Brad Ward

Having bought the Sony NVP-NS77H/B from Revain for 2 months now I can say with absolute certainty that it is worth every penny. We have a 105 inch front projection home theater with a 16:9 HD projector. On such a large projection screen, any defect, whether the cause is the DVD itself or the player (or both), is magnified and too easily visible. We marvel at the picture quality when watching a good DVD on our system with a Sony player. Details like hair, skin, fabric, textures in general are sharp, clear and bright. Zoom and progressive scan modes are no gimmicks and work great on this player. In addition, this Sony player offers many picture control settings (color, contrast, sharpness, etc.) as well as other functions that you can turn on, off or change. We were willing to spend more, but to be honest, since DVD players have been around for so long, the technology has matured enough to now offer high performance at a very reasonable price. Actually we buy another one for the TV in the bedroom. This player deserves 5 stars!.
