As a result I had to order a second one. I glued the first one to the truck bed, on my 2013 F150, but the tailgate wouldn't close. The rear door has some protrusion on one side, and when the door is closed, it rolls down and doesn't work well. I ended up cutting it off as it stuck almost forever. I put a replacement on the door itself and now it works great. To keep dust out of the bed, you also need to seal the tailgate extension openings in the bed. . I used Lowes rubber stoppers which can be found in their tool boxes. Large holes are 3/4" and small ones are 1/4".
