Ideal for powering your phone in the car!
This little device is a GEM. I hardwired it to my overhead console so I could power the iPhone stand from the top without running wires to lighter outlets. And it works fantastically, with enough power to even charge an iPad. If you are looking for a device to connect a USB powered device to your car, this is it! FYI: I just noticed that the ratings for both devices are being merged. I bought the gold color block 3A.
