Disappointed with Yarn

I don't know much about yarn this weight, but I immediately found an odd spot in the yarn connection. The colors are beautiful, I knit with 50 needles. It's a shame the balls are so small but so expensive; Building larger projects than the hood would be particularly costly. I hope I run into odd spots because there isn't much yarn to deal with cosmetic imperfections.
