This works well for removing 4.6 valve springs, but this tool requires larger forks for the cam side and a smaller OD on the spring compression pocket. This tool likes to slip up to the tool spring and pushes the spring into the detented valve, causing it to get stuck when squeezing and adjusting the valve latches instead of holding the valve centered. With the help of a friend, I was able to use this tool to remove and replace valve springs and valve seals in under an hour and a half. Great value for money.
