Review on 🚘 Beck Arnley 044-8003 Auto Trans Filter by Juan Axum

As another reviewer said, the product is untagged but comes in a Beck Arnley box. Knowing from previous experience that the Beck Arnley is generally a quality aftermarket replacement, I ordered it in place of the original OEM unit. I gave that three stars, not higher, because: 1) Upon installation, I noticed that compared to the OEM block, there was not the same engagement with the o-ring in the fitting that after you go into the end of the filter slides screw in filter. I found it weird and after removing and reinstalling it a few times, I took out the calipers and compared the measurements to the original block. The overall length of this ring was about 0.025 inches shorter. In combination with the larger beveled end, there was actually less o-ring slippage. In addition, the machining of the inner surface of the O-ring was significantly rougher than that of the OEM block, despite the same diameter as the OEM block; not what you want to see. creases and looks high quality.
