No other connection can be cut with a drill.
When I received it for the first time, I was a little disappointed with the lack of assembly instructions. I have experimented and installed. Tried a few cuts on scrap wood I had (softwood). The cuts varied greatly and were not smooth. Then I tried it on the oak box I bought it for. The carver did not fell the oak, only split it. I tried several adjustments and just gave up. He comes back. I wondered why the price was so low and I learned the hard way.
