Great adapter. The 4" fitting is slightly tapered to fit all the slightly different sized exhaust ports on my machines. A little push and twist keeps it in place well. The material is durable plastic. The "threaded" end is longer than most others I've looked at and it fits perfectly into the end of my wire reinforced flexible dust collection hose with a snug fit that doesn't require a clamp to hold it in. It's the perfect addition to one Dust particle is a collector hose, which in itself is a pain to move from car to car. Great purchase!
