Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/55 R16 94T winter by Barbara Kowalewska ᠌

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Acquired in October 2022, traveled a distance of 700 kilometers. It is impossible to feel all of the advantages of rubber prior to the arrival of actual frosts. When temperatures are close to and slightly below zero, the rubber is very pliable, and the faint rustling sound that the spikes make can hardly be heard. When the temperature is ten degrees below zero or below, or if there is snow and ice on the road, you start to appreciate the value of the protection you purchased. There are no ruts like Yokohama ig, and it enters and exits turns with only a tiny turn of the steering wheel. The spikes were not heard from the word at all, and the handling is so good that occasionally I go into turns at 80 miles per hour (I drive one code). Stops and starts without slipping and with confidence while using four-wheel drive. And when the temperature dropped to -30 degrees Celsius, I was completely taken aback; I had the distinct impression that I had traveled back in time to the summer. I strongly suggest!

Pros
  • Traction and handling on a snowy and slippery racetrack. There is almost no audible noise coming from the rubber and the spikes.
