Initially, I was going to return this lamp. As other reviews noted, the large spring must be removed for the bulb to fit in a Surefire light. I tried it in a G2, P2, and a M951, and all required the spring to be removed. After removing the spring to make it fit, the bulb did not work. I contacted the seller and they quickly offered to replace it it or refund the price. After fiddling with the bulb, it did work. Only time will tell how durable it it, but the light is working great now, and it was a great low-cost option to convert my outdated Surefire lights into IR lights for night vision use.
