Review on Iomega Superslim USB 2.0 8X DVD Writer: Powerful External Optical Drive 34427 by Ahmed Jackson

This DVD player worked right out of the box. I have not installed the included NERO software and do not intend to install it as people who have have received bad reviews. You don't need any special software to operate this DVD player, it's plug and play. I use it with an 11.5 inch Acer Aspire computer with Windows 7 and it works great. I haven't used it as a recorder yet, so I can't comment on that aspect, but it plays files and movies just fine. I bought this device because it was one of the smallest devices available with decent reviews, making it very portable with a netbook. I'll admit it's probably not something you'll want to drop or bang too hard, but it seems solid enough for such a small and light device. You will not regret your purchase.
