This device converts unstable DC voltage into an excellent 12V DC voltage. This is exactly what I need for my car's needs. However, the voltage drop after switching off the supply voltage is quite slow. The electronics box I'm trying to power doesn't work very well at low voltage, so that "tail" is a bit problematic. Another big problem is that the mounting flange is almost impossible to use. There is practically no gap between the mounting holes and the edge of the device. I still haven't found the right screw configuration to keep this clean.
