At least that's what I thought until I started using them. The only problem I have is that no matter what I put on them, no matter how heavy, they end up flying all over the fryer. They won't stay in place unless you place food on top (spaced right) and let the fryer blow out all the air to do its job. Basically, food and paper move whether you like it or not, which makes me wonder if my food is properly cooked from all angles. Like I said, it's a great idea, but it's more of a hassle for me than dealing with them.
