I have an almost 15 yr old Havanese who developed old dog bladder problems last summer.She weighs about 12-13 lbs. and small fits great. She began having accidents as she was waking up ,and she sleeps on my bed! I ordered some of these Cute Bone diapers after studying the choices available and reading hundreds of reviews. I'm glad I chose these. As it turned out she had a bladder infection and was developing incontinence. I bought 6 pairs to start and after the infection was cleared up, the vet put her on a specially formulated medication to treat the incontinence. A couple months later, no more accidents.so no more diapers and no more medication---until the past two weeks. It seems it's back. And I guess willbe for the rest of her life--at least on & off. I don't particularly like giving her the meds but I guess we will for a few weeks again and see what happens. I'm buying a few more pair of diapers to be sure I'll always have some ready.I wash these by hand in warm water with detergent and a little bleach to sanitize. I allow them to soak foran hr to overnight, then finish washing and hang dry. During the summer I'd just lay them over the arms of deckchairs and they'd dry in an afternoon. Can't do that now (Dec-Jan) but will continue to hand wash andhang dry.it'll just take a little longer inside to dry. I'd rather have more than I actually nee
