Review on Cutter - Yosoo Aluminum Titanium Straight by Justin Guldin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Disposable after each project

I knew I would buy cheap knives but I was surprised at how easily they burn. I've only used them on plastic and very soft woods (MDF, Mahogany, Cedar, Pine) - basically I can do a small CNC project per bit and the bit is fired and roasted. I've tried different speeds and feeds and they're still unsustainable. But for the price I could buy them again. They are mostly disposable items. It's also worth noting that the cutter is relatively small and cuts into the shank instantly; You should think about this geometry in terms of what you typically cut. A traditional 1/8" end mill with a 1/8" shank has a depth of cut advantage.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
