After looking at other binoculars I decided on this one for a number of reasons. I have the same binoculars and am very happy with them. The characteristics of this model helped me to decide. And when I received it, I was glad that the monocular more than lived up to its claims. A clear field of view, durable strap and focus adjustment knob allow you to focus on an object or creature from afar and get it very close. I've tried taking some photos while it's plugged into my phone but I can still get the hang of it. They turned out to be ok but I'm sure they will improve with patience and practice. The tripod must be placed on a solid surface or table. When your phone is plugged in, it offers a height of only about 8 inches. However, it can be tilted and swiveled and the legs can be individually adjusted. Good storage bag for monocular and tripod. Good value under $100. some weight but not too heavy and it seems very well designed and made. Another good product from Adasion.
