Too expensive for what it is. I bought .

Expensive for what it is. I bought it to help with a slide sorting/playback project, but to be honest it's almost as bulky as a full size slide projector and the detail is extremely limited. The 4x magnification gives you a minimum of detail, not enough to really decide if an image is worth digitizing. As others have noted, the description image is misleading as the image doesn't appear on the display but on the back of the device - not surprising if you know how these viewers work, but worth noting.
