Review on 🔌 D-Link DWL-G120 Wireless USB Adapter, 802.11g, 54Mbps - Fast and Reliable Connectivity by William Mathis

I have an old TiVo Series 2 that has worked fine with a Linksys WUSB12 for a few years. I just installed a D-Link DWL-G120 adapter and it works fine. There were no problems. It connects to the TiVo service with no errors. Then I tried to transfer the recorded show to my computer. The transmission rate is a low 2 Mbit/s. The signal quality is excellent. (This distance is only 15 feet). That's half the speed of the WUSB12 B adapter. I was hoping for more speed with the D-Link G adapter. However, the real issue is worrying. When I start broadcasting, TiVo restarts. So. TiVo keeps restarting. It will start transferring the file slowly and restart TiVo within a few minutes. After many tries, I plugged the Linksys WUSB12 back in and all is well.
