Terrible Experience then had to Return

I was really excited when the scooter arrived way ahead of the estimated ship date as this is my 3rd Hiboy and I'd been very impressed with my other 2. First scooter I ever got was the S2 Pro which was great and probably my overall favorite scooter of all time - just wish it was faster. I also got the original Titan which I also liked a lot. However the Titan Pro almost instantly ruined the Hiboy brand for me and when dealing with a product at such a high price point and that requires time for shipping etc, it's really important to nail down a good impression on the first try.First of all, I know that I can go max speed on the Titan which cuts the max mileage by any half from 25 to around 11-12 so I figured I could easily make a 17 mile commute with 100% battery on the Titan Pro at max speed.Wrong.I weigh about 245 and while going max speed on hilly paved trails (27-32 MPH) I went from 100% charge to dead battery (first full cycle as I had only owned the scooter for about 3 days total) at around the 16 mile marker. Trail was had more of a "rolling hills" terrain as opposed to continuous sharp inclines/declines. I'd call it average as long as you don't take average to imply "flat".This caused me to miss a very important Dr's appointment. Oh well though right? I can accept this as somewhat my fault for being unfamiliar with the scooter/battery and assuming there would be consistency amongst models of the same brand.2 days later I'm making the same commute except this time I ride the bus about 10 miles of the way so surely my Titan Pro can handle a measely 7-8 miles right?Wrong. This time the scooter do dies within a few blocks of the same exact spot it died the other day except they I KNOW THE BATTERY CAN'T BE DEAD. However, it sure enough says 0% yet this time I periodically get an E05 - E05 error as well which tells me there's some other culprit besides a simple dead battery.I miss my appointment now for the 2nd time in 3 days due to this $1500 waste of money of a scooter! Missing these appointments resulted in some things going very badly for me which I won't go into as that's not the focus of this review.I get the scooter home and charge it back to 100% yet it now dies within 10 seconds every time.Scooter collects dust for about a week as I get my priorities in order so I can return it to Hiboy but just for the heck if it, I try the ignition one last time on all of sudden. The scooter is retaining a charge! I can't believe it! I take it in about a mile test ride but all systems are go! It's a modern miracle I tell's ya's! So maybe I don't have to go through this horrible hassle of returning this thing after all.I wake up the next morning as I plan to give the scooter a go again with my usual commute. My appointments are Monday-Friday. I leave the front door of my apartment and I wheel the scooter to the elevator as I've always done in the past with my scooters. I exit the elevator, walk it down the hall and out the main entrance and excitedly turn the keys in three ignition looking forward to a fun and fast commute as opposed to the bus/train combo I've been forced to take lately as a result of my malfunctioning and woefully weak of a battery equipped $1500 Titan Pro and.You guessed it.Battery instantly goes from 100% to zero within a few seconds and my commute is more ruined for the 3rd time thanks to the Hiboy Titan Pro.I couldn't return this abomination fast enough. Sad that Hiboy would put their name on something like this. I thought I'd won the lottery by stumbling upon a company I loved so much with my first ever scooter purchase and I planned on being a Hiboy customer for life so I really can't begin to express how disappointed I am that I was premature to name them my "Go to!" scooter destination as I'm aware how difficult it will probably be to always feel like I must shop around for the right scooter while keeping my fingers crossed that this won't turn into a months long ordeal between purchasing/shipping/returns/warranties etc etc but it's better than being ripped off.
