Very impressed with the kit which included 4 rotors and 8 pads as advertised. In addition, the kit also included anti-rattle clips (3 for the front wheel, 2 for the rear wheel) and rubber brake pad seals (2 for the wheel), which was an added bonus. The rotors are very precise and fit perfectly in every respect. The pads also look high quality, with friction material on the back to ensure they fit snugly, and what appears to be is most likely powder coated. All parts are well matched without any problems during installation. The most important thing is of course the performance, which immediately catches the eye. My previous brakes had at least 1/3 of their life left and the rotors were evenly worn (but thinner hence this purchase). The previous setup was stock Ford rotors with aftermarket ceramic pads. I tested the car before changing the brakes and immediately after (about 1 hour later). After breaking in (according to the instructions) I only noticed a difference when I was more than halfway pedaling, the brakes bit even more and I felt the seat belt grab me tighter. Under a sharp, hard braking, the anti-lock braking system worked on a completely dry new pavement (my road was freshly paved with a new pavement 1 month ago). The anti-lock braking system did not intervene with the old brakes. The price of the kit is excellent - $250. Would pay a similar amount for an OEM replacement and this kit has already proven better quality and more productive. Fitting a similar kit with holes and slots would cost a hundred more. It is confirmed to fit 1997 Ford Explorer 4WD. I'm looking forward to the pulling power and I expect it to be good. Fulfillment Verification: Revain informed me that my delivery would be delayed due to unforeseen weather conditions, but everything arrived on time (within the main two-day shipping window). The parts come in two boxes (front and rear kits) with additional boxes (rotors and pads). The front kit was previously opened with a ripped secondary box and ripped rotor plastic bags. There were no signs of wear or damage, just a few fingerprints on the rotors I cleaned.
