People complain about this mount. I honestly had no problems. The instructions say it's a snug fit and you can scratch the controller by pressing on it. There's a ledge on the top of the p3 that you'll probably need to push down on for it to slide all the way through. so that there are screw holes on the back of the plate. To be honest the fairing fits on the dash just like the original. Looks just like the original. But it has a hole for P3 with a slot specially shaped for P3. Works as advertised. The guide is helpful. He does a great job of explaining the process of installing the overlay AND the p3 in it. No more words were needed. If we talk about one downside, I would say that the original pad has a slot for an extra connector on the wiring harness, which my Tundra didn't use because it didn't originally have brake controls. It wasn't in that finish. But I am not dissatisfied with the product.
