As a crocheter, I paid a lot of attention to the length of the yarn balls. Seeing that this was not the length I needed for the planned shawl pattern, I ordered three balls of yarn in the soothing desert. To my dismay, upon opening the box, I found that all three strands were different. Only one of them looked like the picture. They're all labeled Calming Desert on their labels, but the other two aren't the gorgeous purples and oranges pictured. I send everything back. I won't buy anymore. IF this product is the right length for your project then you may be lucky enough to get the color you are looking for. Otherwise save your money." I started using the correct color and imagine my surprise when the purple quickly turned to blackish brown like the other two I bought. I have returned all three and Amazon refunded my money very happily and beautifully.Although I still won't be buying again Amazon was very kind to the whole ordeal.
