I used these ratchets to secure the contents of a 6 x 12 foot U trailer when we were transporting our daughter's belongings 6 hours away to her new home. They have proven themselves well for this purpose. I found the ratchet and threading the ratchet strap through the ratchet itself a bit difficult to figure out. But it could be my fault. I am sure that with frequent use there will be no problems. They seemed strong enough. We secured a mattress and a box spring bed in the caravan, as well as a bright desk, a headboard and a few other items for the bedroom. For that it worked well. Can't comment on durability but looks like they will last a while. They don't look cheap.
