So I bought this hose along with Dorman quick disconnects to replace a rusty fuel line to my fuel rail on my 98 XJ. Everything seemed to be working fine until one day I got behind the wheel and it started jerking as if it had run out of gas. Then the smell hit me. I pulled to the curb and opened the hood, compressed gas spraying all over the exhaust manifold. It's unclear why it doesn't burn. I noticed the clamp seemed a bit loose so I tightened it and started lifting it back up and everything was fine. a few days later i stopped for a coffee on my way to work and emerged from under the niagro falls which was pouring gasoline from my engine bay. I lowered the brackets as much as possible so I could get to work on time. When I got to work I inspected the hose and it was sticky and swollen. A clear indication that this is not a fuel hose. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR AND TYPE OF FUEL. All of this happened, of course, after the return period had expired. Well, live and learn, I think. I ordered a fuel hose from Jegs, it's a real fuel hose.
