Get something else for belts, hoses and pulleys

I've also had a bloat problem and even with the clamps fully tightened it leaks. Because of this "hose" I had to pull the collector twice already, and now I have to do it for the third time. It's not worth it at all.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

High quality fuel hose.

High quality SAE 30R9 fuel injection hose from Thermoid. The order includes 4 high quality clips. Hose 7 feet. Length 5/16 int. diameter, fresh and supple. Great price and fast delivery. Highly recommended. Thanks very much!

Poor quality - hoses

Not sure how this rates for fuel injection. The tube is very soft and swollen when I first ran it. This is below the standard fuel pressure for a '97 4runner with a 3.4 engine. I'll go to the local parts store and buy a tube there. Not worth the trouble.

  • Sleek design

Dangerous hose not compatible with petrol

This 'fuel hose' arrived with no nominal markings on the outside which is a little suspicious. I used a couple of 5" long pieces under my van between the fuel filter and the fuel lines. They lined up fine and didn't leak initially, but after a few weeks the line hardened and leaked. Luckily I have this line in the Engine bay not used where the chance of a fire is much higher. Don't let the low price fool you into buying this crap, fraudulently advertised as a fuel injector hose.

Good hose at a good price

The hose was used to add fuel to the engine compartment and was used on a car that runs on E85. The hose looks very high quality and can be processed very well. Also, the fluorocarbon lining feels nice and thick, which is a nice touch. Remember that the inner tube is on the soft side, so be careful when fitting the end pieces. Inserting and then removing a barbed hose fitting (including nylon quick disconnects such as Dorman quick disconnects) will damage the inner hose cover, requiring you to…

THIS IS NOT A FUEL HOSE.

So I bought this hose along with Dorman quick disconnects to replace a rusty fuel line to my fuel rail on my 98 XJ. Everything seemed to be working fine until one day I got behind the wheel and it started jerking as if it had run out of gas. Then the smell hit me. I pulled to the curb and opened the hood, compressed gas spraying all over the exhaust manifold. It's unclear why it doesn't burn. I noticed the clamp seemed a bit loose so I tightened it and started lifting it back up and everything…

Dangerous Time Bomb - AVOID!

I had a similar experience as a recent reviewer. The hose seemed good at first glance. I installed it and it doesn't drip. After five months I had trouble starting my car. I found that the hose had come loose from the motor. I was surprised at how easily I could slide the hose back onto the pipe without loosening the clamp, which was still tight and partially embedded in the surface of the hose (indicating it was still properly tightened). I compared the defective hose to the remaining unused…
