I think if reviews lower your expectations when you get something great at a great price it gets even better. I bought this rug because I wanted something different for the front of the bookshelves in our home office. It looks beautiful in there and my two dogs have indicated that this is their new favorite spot to rest/lie down. The carpet is well made. The binding is good and strong. The weave is more like industrial grade carpet, although I doubt it will be as durable as industrial grade. It has a non-slip backing so you can place it on hardwood or tile right out of the box. It comes rolled up tightly so once unfolded it may take a day or two to straighten, but putting something heavy on the corners will certainly help if you find it necessary. The print on the carpet is clear. Not fluffy or foggy at all. In general, we like the carpet very much. It looks great, is great quality, and costs less than $20.
