I bought this product for my motorcycle adventure in Alaska and needed something like an extra insurance policy to keep my bike where I left it every night. I also used a motorcycle cover and didn't want it to come off when I took it off the bike. Nobody stole my bike. So I think it worked, but I don't know how. but it has helped me sleep at night without worrying about it. I would give 5 stars but the little black lid with the keyhole was never closed. It stopped working after the 1st pair of uses. It didn't stop the lock from working, but it did make it worse.
