So my 9 month goldendoodle puppy loveeeed Gary. for about 10 minutes. He managed to rip off one of his arms and pull the majority of the stuffing out of him within 10 minutes. I tucked the arm back into the hole and that helped for a bit, but he still loves to rip that hole open and pull the stuffing out. He carries Gary around in his mouth all of the time and sleeps with his head on him like a pillow, so I hate to take him away but I will have to eventually as the arm hole keeps getting larger and larger. This toy is only a 5 on the tough scale, which I did not realize before I ordered this toy. I recommend Gary the Gator for dogs that don't destroy stuffed toys, but not for tough chewers. I will try a Tuffy toy higher up on the tough scale next time.
