Review on Efficient and Versatile 7-Inch Glarks Internal/External Snap Ring Pliers Set - 4 Piece by Chase Dunn

Originally I wanted to give 3 or 4 stars. I bought this set to complement my external snap ring pliers. I had to replace the "cross" (yes it is a cross, but in AG related devices it says cross - got it). The first two snap rings came out fine, #3 and 4 were a bit more difficult to remove (I just thought the snap rings were old). After replacing the universal joint, I realized I was having a terrible time putting new rings back into the yoke. After inspecting the yoke, cross, and anything else I could think of, I happened to look at the tips of the pliers and noticed that one of the tips was bent at a 45° angle. I straightened it up and tried again with a clamp. It is still very difficult to hold the rings on the tip of the pliers. Checked the tip again and it was bent again. Tried straight pliers for internal clamps and the same thing happened after installing a clamp. The bottom line is that the tips are very soft and will flex if enough pressure is applied to seat the inner clip with locking ring into the Series 2 universal joint. DO NOT recommend these pliers. I gave 2 stars because I haven't tried external pliers so these tips may be more difficult - I have my doubts though.
