Review on RIOLAND Treads Carpet Non Slip Runners by James Nedumaran

I'm not sure what or how the people reporting problems are trying to use them but so far (just a few days) they're holding up great on my finished wooden staircase. Before applying I vacuumed the steps thoroughly and then wiped them down with a damp (not dripping) towel. Once the step was wiped down and still slightly damp, I put the protector on and wiped it down with the peeled liner so my hand could slide over it with ease. The backing also came off very easily - I used the red tabs that were designed for this purpose. Other corners are *difficult* to separate. Must come back with an update after running them for a while and can add more stars for grip and durability but so far so good.
