I've seen some videos on how to add LED lights to two-stage snow throwers. This included a bridge rectifier, a couple of capacitors and a case. It simplifies everything into one nice waterproof container. Depending on the current draw of your lamps you may need to use a larger one, I used 3 amps. I also glued a strong rectangular magnet on it so it's easy to assemble without drilling a hole. If you try to connect LED lights without this or a home-made rectifier, the LED lights will flicker and/or burn out. Wiring is very simple. One of the two red input wires connects to the wire going to the existing light (or heated grips), the other red wire goes to the frame. Output: Yellow and black wires are connected to the LED light. I suggest testing the output with a voltmeter as the markings are confusing. It shows minus (-) on the left and plus (+) on the right. Above that, however, is a B (black) and a Y (yellow) that's inverted to accommodate the wires coming out of the product. It doesn't affect performance, but it shouldn't. I should probably deduct a star for that. Also, if the manufacturer is listening, I would prefer yellow wires for input and black and red wires for output, which is automotive standard (12 volt DC).
