Review on πŸ”§ Klein Tools 32751 Screwdriver: Adjustable Length 4-8 Inch, #2 Phillips & 1/4-Inch Slotted Tip by George Scoles

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fragile Theft. Sticky collar. Disappointing to release a beat.

From day one I found that lengthening or removing a part to go from a Phillips to a flat was counterintuitive. My bit is getting stuck and this is forcing me to try and counter force the release collar. So I'm wondering in which direction do I apply force to loosen the drill bit, push the trigger sleeve forward or retract? To loosen and remove the bit I think I'm pushing the release ring out and away from the handle to remove the bit, although I'm typing this, but that's not correct. If the bit is pulled before clutch force is applied, the bit will bind. Worst of all, the metal is weak. Using a small 11-in-1 screwdriver, I can clearly see that stealing is different. It is more difficult. Today when I tightened the cross tabs on the HVAC disconnect switch, all four prongs of my bit broke and got stuck in the tab. They must be tightened to maintain a solid electrical connection. Hand tightening is sufficient, but this is not usually within NEC specifications. After reassembling the broken parts, I used my 11 in 1 and got 1 more full turn. I will not buy this driver again.
