INCORRECT MOVE The tailgate fell off immediately, leaving skin and crushing my right arm as I struggled to pull it between the tailgate and the body. The back door is very heavy. I was glad the tailgate latch didn't snap to the closed position while all of this was going on. I've finished installing the tailgate struts and so far so good. The tailgate now releases instantly from the latch, making boarding very easy.
