I had to go to the auto zone and take a 16mm adjustable wrench for the installation. First there was a small gas leak. I thought I mixed up the threads, but in fact there was a slight tension on the fuel line that was preventing the filter from seating properly. Removed and reinstalled, fits perfectly. Make sure you unhook the fuel relay. On my S10 Blazer it is to the left of the steering servo which is bolted to the firewall. Unclip the bracket holding your filter in place to insert a new one. At first it didn't work for me and I tried to push it and it caused the problem I mentioned earlier. After I loosened the braces, they fit perfectly and served their purpose. Good fuel system upgrade. The biggest disadvantage is that I didn't get a k&n sticker. You all know it gives at least +5hp to any vehicle lol.
