I'm so disappointed the set is beautiful but the finish sucks. It had 3 small spots that looked defective (like a pinhead sized blister in the paint) when I scratched one spot with my fingernail the paint scratched immediately leaving a long strip of missing paint. Then, after cooking once in the pan, another stain started peeling off, causing an extra large scratch from the missing paint. During cooking, a small drop of food burned the outer surface or surface, discoloring it, resulting in permanent browning. So disappointed that the quality of the pans seemed good but the finish is poor and won't hold up after a couple of cooks. The extra pan came with a large dent in the marbled lip trim, showing bare metal. Also, the lid handle has gotten so hot that you can't remove it without potholders, but pot handles can't. Unfortunately I am sending them back because they are beautiful and well made. Also, the card that comes with it asks not to give it back, but to call if there is a problem, but when I dialed the number it's not good. bad customer service.
