My 1650 sqm. feet home finally has perfect 5G WiFi coverage around every corner. My old ISP modem/wireless router worked fine when I was around. Getting a computer to stream to both my TV and mobile devices has always seemed like a real hassle. When I ran the speed test, my old Wi-Fi was running at full speed 100/100 in the same room as my ISP's modem. In the living room it dropped to 30/30 and in the far corner of the master bedroom it dropped to 5/5 or 10/10 on a good day. Now I have 100/100 speed everywhere at home. Only one placed in the middle of my one story house does the job :) It also works well without being attached to the ceiling or wall. My wife didn't want to see it so I hung it over the door to our kitchen. It just sits flat, completely hidden above the door, and works great. I ran a flat Cat 6 cable along the baseboard to connect it and it is also invisible as it matches the color of the baseboard. did. The Unifi Controller is very easy to use and fairly intuitive once you have a basic understanding of how to set up and manage a network. Even if you are an absolute beginner, you can easily figure it out. Before creating and connecting to wireless networks, I recommend updating the firmware and performing an RF environment scan. It was nice to see how congested some of the 2.4G wireless channels were, mainly from neighbors and their wireless networks. Once that was complete I worked on the least used channel. There are endless cool features for nerds like me. I highly recommend this AP. Considering the cost of "high end" consumer routers and these, this isn't a problem.
