I bought this filter for my 2003 Suzuki DL1000 V Strom. This is the filter that was mentioned here when searching for this bike. Today I wanted to install a new filter that was not screwed into the engine. If you look at the threads in the filter and on the motor, it has a different pitch. Luckily, Revain has agreed to refund the purchase price and not require the filter to be returned. But I'm wondering what kind of filter other than the OEM filter actually fits this bike and meets the OEM specs. Your installation guide is not accurate.
