Easy installs on 2011 Ford Explorer

We bought a used 2011 Ford Explorer and our first A-pillar trim came off and flew off Roadtrip. The inside of the shelf was damaged so it had to be replaced as well. Installation was easy despite the lack of instructions. The fit was perfect. In hindsight, pictures would have been helpful, but here are the steps I took: 1. Remove the existing rack liner. Save the screws.2. The top part of the outer panel is inserted into a hole in the vehicle frame. When the old one broke off, its clip stayed in that hole. Use a plastic spatula to remove it without damaging the paint. (Even when closed, do not scratch the paint or allow rust to penetrate. 3. Assemble the inner panel of the rack. Start at the bottom. Be careful to align the holes with the holes in the frame. ... There is a smaller one Pin on the top of the interior that goes into the hole in the frame to make sure it stays aligned.I think I put all the bolts in with moderate force then went back to final tightening, no need to turn hand tight 4 Install the outer fairing piece. It has a piece of backing paper that you need to peel off to reveal the bead of adhesive that will allow it to adhere to the inner lining of the luggage rack. Go ahead and peel off the plastic protective film from the outside. Now comes the part where you just do it, start at the bottom and make sure you clip the clips on the underside of the outer panel m aligned with the matching holes on the outer panel n snapped into the inner panel. Start at the bottom and work your way up. Should be. If he bends over, he's sold out and you still have to slap him. And all. Much luck!
