Nice little tool and a great way to remove ball or tie rod studs from knuckles. Reading a lot of reviews, I think a lot of people don't really know how to use such a tool in a better and safer way. Two remarks must be made. First, when using this tool, do not remove the stud nut completely, just back it off a few turns if you can, still holding the tool on the end of the stud. Second, get the tool up to a good torque level and then hit the bolt hard on the hinge with a hammer, which should cause the bolt to pop out. Following these two steps will reduce the risk of injury and result in less wear and potential damage to the tool.
